Happy birthday, dear Freddie

If Freddie was alive, today he would have turned 67. Sadly, he left us so young and he is much missed. However, he will always live in our hearts.
To celebrate this special day (night now), we're going to add some of our favourite 1970s Queen photoshots :)

Enjoy!

1974, April 28th - Queen photographied at Massachusetts State House, Boston Common and around Beacon Street during their USA tour with Mott the Hoople. The information comes from an article of Japanese magazine Music Life issued in July 1974, with no credit about the photographer. Some of the pics where sold in calendars and other promotion goods of Sheer Heart Attack, probably Japan only. Many thanks to Kelly for the Information!

This last pic comes from https://www.facebook.com/borhapsody

Pictures in 1974 by the ML (Music Life) journalist Miyasaka and Kijima, in London. At that time, Brian was still in hospital and only Roger, Freddie, and John came to the photo shooting. Thanks to toniz, iminlovewithfreddiemercury, roger-taylor-striped-jacket, looblue, and Aika who helped with the research.

Photos by Dave Gerrard, 1974, thanks so much to last-horizon
